The Mission of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Georgia is:

• To enforce federal criminal laws of the United States;
• To represent the interests of the United States, its agencies and employees in federal civil litigation;
• To respond to the public safety needs of the community by leading an effective, well-coordinated law enforcement effort that contributes to the overall goal of improving the quality of life in the Southern District of Georgia; and
• To facilitate a cooperative working relationship between state , local and federal law enforcement agencies.
